On 29th April 2024, Niall Shiels achieved a significant result at Isleworth Crown Court. Our longstanding client, LR, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (Crack Cocaine and Heroin) and one count of possession of criminal property.
LR was suspected of managing a lucrative drug operation across West London, including Hayes and Uxbridge. Following extensive mitigation, the Defence obtained a psychological report that concluded LR was extremely vulnerable and likely to have been easily dominated and influenced by others.
As a result, LR was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment, whereas the starting point for such offences is typically 4.5 years.
