Paralegals – Human Rights, Civil liberties and Public Law Department 

 

We are seeking to recruit paralegals/caseworkers to join our successful team which is highly regarded and rated as a national leader in all aspects of human rights, civil liberties and public law.   

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

​

The role will consist of assisting the fee earners in the team with case preparation, including administrative tasks, legal research, client liaison, drafting statements, processing evidence, collating and ordering documentation / evidence, attending conferences and court, preparing application forms, evidence and uploads, assisting with legal aid applications and preparing files for legal aid billing.  From time to time the post holder may be asked to assist other members of the team.

 

You will need to:

  • be highly motivated, proactive, self-servicing, enthusiastic,

  • have excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills,

  • have a flexible and professional attitude,

  • be able to work on confidential matters and under pressure together with a keen eye for detail.

Solicitor - Criminal Law Department

We are seeking to recruit a Solicitor/Duty Solicitor to join our busy and successful Crime team.  

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The role will consist of running complex caseload from police station, magistrates to Crown Court and Court of Appeal.

 

You will need to:

 

  • be highly motivated, proactive, self-servicing, enthusiastic,

  • have excellent communication, organization and administrative skills,

  • have a flexible and professional attitude,

  • be able to work on confidential matters and under pressure together with a keen eye for detail.
