Imran Khan & Partners represented two defendants in a recent trial at Liverpool Crown Court, arising from an incident at Manchester Airport on 23 July 2024.


Both defendants faced assault charges after an altercation with Greater Manchester Police officers.


Defence counsel Imran Khan KC, instructed alongside Chloe Gardner, challenged the officers’ conduct, alleging that excessive force was used and not in accordance with training standards. The case received widespread national media attention, including coverage by the BBC.
