Aya Alshekhili is a solicitor at Imran Khan & Partners. She has previous experience in complex civil and commercial litigation, including multi-party claims and public law–related matters. Prior to joining the firm, she worked on high-profile claimant litigation, including group claims arising from the Dieselgate emissions scandal and large-scale claims brought by Iraqi civilians involving allegations of unlawful detention and mistreatment.

 

Aya’s practice includes advising and representing clients in civil actions, police complaints and inquest proceedings. She is currently acting for multiple Core Participants in the Undercover Policing Public Inquiry, where she is involved in case preparation and strategic litigation. She is known for her thorough legal analysis, strong case management skills and commitment to client care, particularly in sensitive and complex matters.

 

Aya holds an LLB from City, University of London and completed the Legal Practice Course at The City Law School with distinction.
