Lara is a paralegal who joined the Civil and Public Law Department (Inquests, Judicial Reviews and Public Inquiries) at the firm in July 2022. She principally assists Imran Khan QC on a range of Civil, Criminal and Public Law matters, including the Grenfell Inquiry. She further assists Daniel Cooper with inquests, actions against the police and the Lambeth Children’s Home Redress Scheme. Lara obtained an undergraduate degree in Geography from UCL in 2017 before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at City, University of London. She recently passed the Bar Vocational Studies course at City University and is currently completing two specialist advocacy modules and an LLM.
Alongside her studies, Lara is a Trustee of the Copenhagen Youth Project. She is also a legal volunteer at the Schools’ Consent Project, lecturing pupils on the law surrounding consent and sexual offences. For her Clinical LLM, Lara is a volunteer at Support Through Court, providing practical and procedural support to Litigants in Person in a range of Civil and Family Law matters.
