Balvinder Gill

Balvinder Gill began her career as a community rights activist working in London pursuing the rights of victims of racial harassment, police harassment, domestic violence and hate crime.
After a 10 year period of working for the National Civil Rights Movement, The Monitoring Group, and Chair of The Asian Women’s Refuge in West London, which involved the relentless pursuit for justice of Black and Ethnic Minority communities and women and children victims of domestic violence, she took up employment as Head of Equality Quality Assurance at the London Borough of Hounslow, before beginning a career as a solicitor.
She is joint Head of the Criminal Department and manages all Very High Cost Cases (VHCC) contracts and has dealt with all types of serious crime.
