Shanthi qualified as a Solicitor in 1996. Before that, she worked for the Citizens Advice Bureau and various women’s organisations and continues to provide free advice to local community organisations.

 

Shanthi is on the Law Society Children’s Panel and regularly acts for parents and children when a local authority takes proceedings to remove children into care.

 

Shanthi has also been accredited by Resolution as a specialist panel member in the areas of Children Law and domestic violence, and she adopts their philosophy of a non-confrontational and amicable approach to relationship breakdowns with the aim of producing constructive and inexpensive outcomes.

 

Shanthi is Head of the Family Law Department. She has over 20 years of specialist experience in advising and representing clients on all areas of Family Law including divorce, financial relief, children disputes, care proceedings, domestic violence and cohabitation disputes. Shanthi is fluent in Malayalam.
